Gateway to both Sydney and Newcastle, the central coast is a fantastic destination for those that want a low key relaxing holiday. Situated on the east coast there are numerous of beaches to explore. Most with plenty of room to lay down the towel. Often a popular spot on weekends for Sydney Siders who want to escape the busy city scene. Accommodation is often cheaper than what you would find in Sydney. The Central Coast is about an hour away from Sydney. It's easily accessible by train, car or bus. It’s also around an hour from Newcastle. It's a great base for those wanted to fit lots into their trip. Close enough for day trips to Sydney, Newcastle, Port Stephens and the Hunter Valley.
